Web 2.0 & Social Networks: Are We There Yet?

Description: So is this ‚"Web 2.0‚" and ‚"social network‚" stuff fully baked yet? Has it actually started paying off for nonprofits yet? Or more hype than substance? This session will use data and case studies from experienced nonprofit experts to take stock of the overall experience that most nonprofits are having using these new tools and principles. By focusing on a few success stories (yes there really are some!) we will try to identify what the secrets of success seem to be. Also: What are the key success metrics, and how do they vary if my goals are to build brand awareness, or educate the public‚ as opposed to advancing my advocacy agenda? Or what if my goals are to grow my list of grassroots supporters? To attract donor leads? Or to fundraise directly, right now? Come participate, and be ready to share your own war stories from the Web 2.0 front.
