David Jorgensen Senior Director of Membership National Wildlife Federation
Presentation Title: Retaining "At-Risk" Revenue
David has over 15 years of direct response fundraising experience split between both agency and nonprofit worlds. While working at Craver, Mathews, Smith & Company as the director of strategic planning and analysis, he worked closely with the director of research and development to bring innovative acquisition and development strategies, planning, modeling, and analysis to his clients. Prior to joining CMS in 1999, David was the sole analyst for National Wildlife Federation's then newly launched philanthropy-based membership department. Having left NWF to join CMS for 7 years, David returned to NWF in 2006, where he took the role of director of member retention and drove the strategies for the membership appeals, renewals, monthly giving, telemarketing, and special projects. One year later he launched a direct mail fundraising platform to work in conjunction with the major giving program.
