Presentation Title: The Secrets of Marketing to Boomers and Seniors Online

David Weigelt is the partner and chief marketing strategist with Immersion Active, the only Internet marketing agency in the United States focused solely on the 50-plus markets.  At Immersion Active, David works with new clients to determine what core needs their product can fulfill for an older consumer, which then enables Immersion Active to develop online marketing strategies that more effectively connect with a company’s target consumer group.  This spring, David, along with Immersion Active partner Jonathan Boehman, released Dot Boom: Marketing to Baby Boomers Online Through Meaningful Online Engagement.  This book combines a developmental marketing approach with a new definition of online engagement specific to boomer consumers to provide an actionable framework for effectively connecting with these consumers online.  David attended McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) where he now serves as an adjunct professor.
