Mariann Payne has worked in the mid-Atlantic region in fundraising for twenty years, focusing on independent schools and universities.  She was born in Pittsburgh and moved to Tennessee where she learned to love relationship building and teaching.  Her experience as a teacher and a fundraising professional include independent schools in the D.C. area, HIV/AIDS direct services, university relations, and research centers.
