Tucker Ball

Presentation Title: What's the Good Word?  Re-write Your Website to Engage and Inspire Supporters

Tucker Ball is director of online marketing for the National Partnership for Women & Families.  In this role, Tucker develops and executes an integrated communications strategy to increase the organization's visibility, membership, and online fundraising.  Prior to joining the National Partnership, Tucker served as Chief Marketing Officer for Sojourners where he managed the organization's magazine circulation, fundraising, and online operations.  Previously, Tucker founded First Coast Creative LLC, a start-up Web design company in Jacksonville Beach, FL to assist nonprofit and faith-based organizations; served as a volunteer communications consultant for nonprofit organizations in Belfast, Northern Ireland; worked in Web Marketing for Free Range Media and KCPQ-TV in Seattle, WA; and enjoyed a stint on a student visa with CitiBank in London.  Tucker holds a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a minor in Business Administration from UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School.
