Our History
Bridge was born in 2005, when AFP DC and DMAW joined forces to offer something the nonprofit industry had never seen before. A conference where fundraising and marketing unite to elevate mission-driven work.
Since then, Bridge has become a nationally recognized gathering point for thousands of nonprofit professionals, executives, and solution providers. Each year, we continue to evolve to reflect the needs, challenges, and opportunities of our sector.
Along the way, Bridge has expanded through strategic partnerships that enrich the conference experience:
- Faith & Fundraising Forum – Developed by The Nonprofit Alliance Catholic Development Council, this forum serves fundraisers whose missions are rooted in faith traditions—offering learning tailored to values-driven philanthropy.
